Volunteering connects you to others and your local area. It provides a sense of purpose and it’s a chance to to both learn new skills and share knowledge.
Volunteering can boost your own health and well-being. And last but not least, volunteering is fun!
We are a low pressure group. When you sign up that does not mean that you commit to turning up every week.

We will provide all equipment needed for our activities. You can hold on to some equipment at home (such as a litter picker, gardening gloves, LLEG Hi-Vis vest) for repeated use.

There are no membership costs involved. Members are also invited to stay for a hot drink and a scone after volunteering!

LLEG mainly communicates with members through a Members WhatsApp group. Regular activities are also announced on social media for members who do not use WhatsApp.

Yes, LLEG is a registered member of the Fingal PPN (Public Participation Network).

LLEG maintains a public liability insurance policy to protect the Group in its activities.

All new members will receive a copy of our Health and Safety Plan along with a copy of our Group Constitution.

Your children are welcome to join you for activities but please be advised we are an over 18s group only and adhere to Child and Vulnerable Adult Safeguarding Procedures. This means that children and vulnerable adults can only attend under the direct supervision of a parent/ guardian who is a member.

Yes but anyone under 18 needs to have a supervising parent/ guardian with them.
